about

In late 2018, fresh from an awarded film soundtrack work (Os Príncipes OST, released in 2019), I started sharing performances and recording sessions on my Youtube channel. The albums Inverno 2 (2019) and 44 Minutes of Your Attention (2020) drew heavily from those sessions. Then in 2021 I went back to an all new, unfilmed offering with Portal Between Two Worlds (Cyclical Dreams). And then, a totally filmed album with Brain Records (Ultra Gash Records), but this time the film and the album were released at the same time. Looking back to the past couple of years, Deep Blue gathers some of the more recent performances, recorded between 2020 and 2021, a varied selection from deep dark soundscapes to upbeat soundtracks. I believe Deep Blue represents the whole scope of my styles and influences, in a rich, fulfilling album package, with 10 bite sized tracks.

Reviews:
"Rio-Berlin ends this fascinating and surprising album (...) with short tracks that do not take anything away from the depth and musical visions of the Brazilian keyboardist." (Deep Blue by Sylvain Lupari for Synth and Sequences)

"Overall Deep Blue is a pleasure to listen to. I particularly enjoyed the variety of sounds and styles used on the tracks and how much they reminded me of my favorite movie soundtracks." (Deep Blue by Mobile Musician Magazine)
